A few years back, in my pre-Tridium days, I lived and worked in the Washington, DC suburbs. August was one of my favorite times of the year - not because I enjoyed heat and humidity (I don't)- but because it was the time of year when alot of people went on vacation and my commute was manageable.

Since I joined Tridium, August is "get serious planning the Summit" in the odd years. So here it is, August 2009, and I am working on floor plans, websites, program guides, entertainment and room blocks for the 2010 Niagara Summit. This is the time in the planning process that is the genesis of our program offerings.

By the way, my summer commute is down a flight of stairs, very manageable even when it's not August!
