I came up with a trick for make the schedule write happen. For the schedule you want to export, go to slot view and unhide the action Execute. This action happens when you hit save after editing a schedule. You can link this as and exececute trigger to the BACnet schedule export object. This way, whenever a schedule is changed, it immediately gets written to the controller.

Thanks for the tip about Niagara vs. device, now I can see how to prevent overwriting the local schedule.

RE: isoft cbus driver

One IEC interface can serve up to 3000 data points on speed up to 76k8. The exact number of points per IEC depends on the bus load. You can install more IEC's on one bus represented as devices in Niagara model. IEC supports both change of value and polling mode. We strogly advice customers to use CoV except for very old XL devices (firmware 1.01.32 and older) where CoV is not supported. The CBus option card is fully compatible with the IEC.

But I suspect the issue is the points are "out-of-service" on the device. In 3.0, Niagara polled the Present_Value and the Status_Flags of the points. The status bits from the remote point's 'Status_Flags' property were merged with the status bits from the Niagara proxy point's 'status' property. The BACnet 'out-of-service' bit corresponds to the Niagara 'disabled' bit. So the grey disabled color could be because (a) the parent BacnetDevice in Niagara (or even the BacnetNetwork) is disabled, and this status is propagating down to the point; (b) the proxy point itself is disabled; or (c) the point is enabled and polling, and the Status_Flags property in the remote device has the out-of-service bit TRUE.

One other note on the MTIIs: I think some points that you typically need to set are actually presented as Input-type objects. In order to set the value on them, you need to set them out-of-service first (according to the rules of the BACnet specification). So this may be why those points are out of service. Not sure if that is still the case, I haven't talked to McQuay units in a while. Maybe someone with recent experience can confirm?
